I now own a Trek Procaliber 9.8 carbon hardtail. Rear hub is 148mm Boost. I've done about 4000km on it and love the 1x11 gearing (no more front derailleur problems!) BUT the wear on 11 speed is way too high for a brevet bike. I'm on my 3rd chain and getting close to a cluster and 4th chain.

Mega Gravel Grind was superb. 12400m of climbing, so gears 1-3 are now run in!

This has got to be the best handling bike ever

Rohloff is like an old Sturmey Archer on steroids. No more derailleur cluster cleaning.
